What is the BEE Award?

The BEE Award is given to a student worker who has gone Beyond Everyday Expectations in their work. Employers can nominate their students with the online nomination form. We will post winners here monthy, so check back to see which student workers have gone above and beyond!

Beyond Everyday Expectations

Did a student worker spend extra time on the phone to help a caller? Did they come up with a great idea? Did they finish a big project? There are so many ways a student worker can go above and beyond what is expected of them!

The nominator's name and contact information, the student's name and contact information, and a short comment area discussing how the student has gone Beyond Everyday Expectations and why they deserve this award.

They will receive a certificate and a bag with goodies in it.

A member of Career & Employment Services will present their award and gift.

If the student is willing, we will take their picture and honor them on our social media plaforms and TV monitors across campus.

Every student who is nominated will be recognized at least once throughout the year.

Technically yes, anyone can access the form online. We feel the most important part of this award is higlighting the great work that students are doing versus managing who is nominating them. So we feel if someone is taking the time to fill out the nomination form, we want to honor that recognition.
