National Survey of Student Engagement

The Center for Post-secondary Research at Indiana University developed a widely-known national benchmark assessment called the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). Colleges and universities use this assessment tool to determine how students are engaging inside and outside the classroom. Students are asked about hours spent doing a variety of activities, plans to take part in certain courses, projects and activities.

MSUB has participated in this assessment during spring semester 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2016, and 2019.
