ASMSUB Golden Merit Award
The Golden Merit Award is a student recognition opportunity that is offered by the Associated Students of Montana State University Billings. This award will be given to graduating seniors who have had a successful college career and gained respect in their field of study. The student will be recognized according to their involvement on campus and/or in the community while attending MSUB. Each Dean is asked to submit the nominations of three students from their college and a winner will be selected by ASMSUB Executive Committee from those nominations.
Criteria for the Golden Merit award:
- The student’s involvement in campus activities while attending MSU Billings
- The student’s involvement in community activities
- A GPA of 3.0 or Higher
- Student must be an undergraduate student graduating with approved paperwork on file in the Registrar’s Office.
If you would like to recommend a student to be considered, please contact the appropriate college dean with the student's major/minor, GPA in the major, cumulative GPA, email, etc.
Outstanding Undergraduate Student Leadership Award
The Outstanding Undergraduate Student Leadership Award sponsored by the Vice Chancellor for Student Access and Success recognizes a graduating senior for their contribution to the MSUB community both inside and outside the classroom. Faculty and staff are asked to nominate seniors based on their scholarship, contribution to MSU Billings through activities, service, and good citizenship.
*You will be asked for the nominee's major, cumulative gpa, email, etc.
Deadline
The deadline to submit nominations is Monday, March 8 at 5pm.
