MSUB Music Department presents senior recitals

Danielle and Dillon Steiger to perform March 24

MSU BILLINGS NEWS—The Montana State University Billings Music Department is pleased to announce two senior music recitals for the month of March.  

Senior students and spouses Danielle and Dillon Steiger will present their senior recitals on Sunday, March 24 in Cisel Recital Hall on the MSUB University Campus.

Danielle Steiger will begin with her Euphonium Recital at 5 p.m., followed by Dillon Steiger’s percussion recital at 7:30 p.m.

Danielle Steiger is part of a legacy of family low brass players. She started Euphonium in fifth grade and has been playing ever since. She is a student of John Roberts, assistant professor of low brass. Steiger is pursuing a double music degree in both Music Education and Music Performance. She will be performing pieces by Weber, Barat, Sparke, and Jacob.

Dillon Steiger has performed with numerous MSU Billings music ensembles and has also performed with the Billings Studio Theatre, Community Band, and Shriners Dance Band. He is member of the Reserve Officer Training Corps and plans to commission in the United States Army. The recital will feature works by Mark Berry, Alex Stopa, and more. Pursuing a percussion performance major, Steiger is a student of Luke Kestner and Matt Devitt.

Both recitals are free and open to the public.
