Event Promotion
After reserving a room or space, follow the steps below to promote your event at MSU Billings.

Master Calendar
- Faculty, staff, and some students use the Master Calendar to keep track of university events.
- Submissions can be made to the Master Calendar, by clicking "log in" at the top right corner, and signing in with your NetID and password.
- Contact Dillon Deffinbaugh if issues arise.

Monitor Slides
- Due two weeks before an event
- Wide format (16:9)
- Include 5 W’s (who, what, when, where, why)
- Best practices
- Email slides to webmaster@msubillings.edu
- View current slides

@the Hive: : To promote to and invite faculty & staff to campus events via email
- Publishes every other Wednesday; content due on Mondays by 5 p.m.

Press Release: To invite community members and promote to community
- Minimum of ten business days lead time

- Register social media accounts with UCAM to be listed among official MSU Billings Social Media Sites
- Create a Facebook event on your organization's Facebook page
- List @msubillings as a co-host for your Facebook event
- Tag @msubillings in your Facebook post for a repost
- Tag @msubillings on Instagram and Twitter for a reshare
