MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Montana State University Billings art major Holly Grob will present her senior thesis exhibition “Orientation” in the MSUB Student Gallery from March 30 through April 10. A closing reception will be held on April 9 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The exhibition is a mixed media installation centering on a discussion of place—the relationship among built and natural space, time, and memory and how these relationships affect our selves, Grob said.

The installation uses diverse materials such as clay, steel, wood, charcoal, pastels, tumbleweeds, string and artificial snow to create a striking landscape to navigate through and with.

Grob will graduate in May with a B.F.A. in sculpture. The student gallery is open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and is free and open to the public.
