MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Billings-area residents have a chance to meet with legislators next week to talk about legislative issues at the halfway point of the current session.

 

Montana State University Billings is hosting a community breakfast forum with legislators on Monday, March 2 from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at the MSU Billings Downtown Campus, 214. N. Broadway. The forum is free and open to the public and refreshments will be served.

 

Legislators from the Yellowstone River valley and nearby counties will be available to talk about the progress of the session, pending and passed legislation and the next stage of the legislative process. The 2009 Montana legislative session is on a transmittal break from Feb. 27 to March 1. Lawmakers are due back in Helena on Tuesday, March 2 for the second half of the 90-day session.
