All Montana State University Billings students enrolled in six or more credits are required to have some form of health insurance.  A student health insurance policy is available to Montana State University Billings students who are enrolled for six or more credits.  Before registering, students will be asked to elect or waive the student health insurance.  The waiver or election process must be completed by the 15th day of fall and spring semesters. The premiums are paid on a semester basis along with tuition and fees. Each semester the premium is for a period of six months, therefore, they will be covered whether or not they are taking summer semester classes. Online-only students should contact Student Health Services regarding insurance availability.

Policy brochures are available at the Student Health Services Offices on the 2nd floor of Petro Hall and on the 2nd Floor of the Tech Building at City College at MSU Billings. BlueCross BlueShield of Montana offers additional information about the Student Health Plans provided by The Montana University Insurance Consortium. If you have questions, you may contact Student Health Services at 406-657-2153.

Note: All students are eligible to use the Student Health Services, whether or not they waive or elect the insurance plan.
