An experienced event coordinator is assigned to every meeting and event to answer questions, offer advice, navigate arrangements with other MSUB departments, and more to ensure you have a smooth and successful event experience.

Parking

Event attendees can park for free on weekends and after 5:00 PM on weekdays. If your event takes place during regular business hours, MSUB event staff will request parking permits. Please find maps and details at our Parking Website.

Logistics

Each event is customized to meet your needs at no additional cost to you**. Some spaces have limited setup options (e.g., meeting rooms and most classrooms), while other spaces are very customizable (e.g., banquet rooms and outdoor spaces). See a diagram of potential setup types you may want to consider for your event below.

**Additional fees may apply for significant staffing or equipment needs, or for events taking place outside of typical hours of operation.

Security

University Police may be able to attend or check in on your event if needed, oftentimes for an additional fee. Events with alcohol oftentimes are required to have an officer present.

Vendor Arrangements

Our team has cultivated relationships with many third-party event rental and service providers across the city and region, and your coordinator can help manage any rentals you may need. In many cases, we can request quotes, place orders, coordinate deliveries and pickups, and even pay the vendor on your behalf. In these cases, the vendor charges will be added to your MSUB invoice without any additional markup.
