Class A & Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training is designed to prepare students for a successful career in professional driving and trucking. With hands-on instruction, state-of-the-art equipment, and third-party testing support, our CDL training partners with experienced instructors and the Driving Academy to help you get on the road.
Program Overview
Whether you’re launching a new career or upgrading your credentials, our CDL training prepares you for real-world success. Training includes:
- Classroom instruction covering commercial vehicle operation, safety regulations, and CDL standards.
- Behind-the-wheel practice and simulator experience.
- Preparation for state CDL exams and third-party testing support.
Tuition: $5,600 (subject to final schedule and provider details).
Delivery: A combination of classroom and practical field instruction.

How to Enroll
To register, learners will be redirected to the Driving Academy website, where the training is delivered. When completing registration, students
should indicate that they were referred through Montana State University Billings
(MSUB), as this helps provide learners with future funding opportunities and reporting
partnerships.

Funding & Referral Note
Important: When enrolling via the Driving Academy portal, be sure to state MSUB referral. Accurate referral reporting helps support workforce funding opportunities, scholarships, and future partnership development between MSUB and training providers.
