ORC Board
Committee Structure
The committee will
consist of the following members (appointed with respect to their involvement in
research including human participants as subjects):
- One faculty member of the College of Arts and Sciences
- One faculty member of the College of Education
- One faculty member of the College of Business
- One faculty member of the College of Technology
- One faculty member of the College of Allied Health Professions
- At
least one member whose primary concerns are in scientific areas, and at
least one member whose primary concerns are in nonscientific areas.
- One member who is not otherwise affiliated with the institution, and is not
part of the immediate family of a person who is affiliated with the
institution.
- Director of Grants and Sponsored Programs
Each member shall serve
for 3 years with 1/3 of the members exiting and replaced each year. A member may
serve two consecutive terms. Former members who have been off of the IRB for a
three-year term are again eligible for membership. Potential new members will be
sought with the input of current and outgoing members.
