The mission of the Department of Health and Human Performance is to prepare highly competent professionals who are committed to leadership, lifelong learning, exceptional service, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles in diverse health, physical education and sport settings. Graduate study in the department includes coursework, research, and internship opportunities for students to advance their personal and professional competence in these areas.
