The University Honors Program is fully engaged in contributing to the intellectual vitality of Montana State University Billings and Billings and is committed to community service. Academically, the HONR 499 Capstone* and the Writer in Residence courses exemplify this commitment. Additionally, the UHP supports or sponsors such activities as the Guest Writers Speaker Series, the Domestic Violence Abuse Awareness Society (DVAASA) events, the Undergraduate Research and Creativity Conference, and the annual Last Lecture.

Similarly, the UHP expects its members to be civically engaged.
