September 9 – October 20

Reception (*Free and Open to Public)
Thursday, September 17, 5pm–7pm
1st Floor, Liberal Arts Building, MSUB Campus

Dr. Leanne Gilbertson presents, "Warhol's Stars: Fashion and Failures in the 1960s," Tues. Oct. 13 in LI148 at 6.30pm

MSUB holds an exceptional gift of original Polariods and silver gelatin prints from the Andy Warhol Foundation. Drawing from these photographic works (1970–1987) and complementing them with a selection of Warhol Screen Test portrait films (1964–66) on loan from the Warhol Museum, MSUB's Northcutt Steele Gallery is pleased to offer the exhibition: Warhol's "Women."

This exhibition examines Warhol's abiding and evolving relationships with his female and feminized (including transgender) collaborators over the course of three decades.

In conjunction with this exhibition, six Warhol screenprints recently gifted to the university will be on display at the Northcutt Steele Gallery for the first time.

The reception is catered and is free and open to the public.
