Rain fun at Summerfest 2011

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — The unmistakable atmosphere of a summer carnival — complete with games, food and family fun — will fill the air at this year’s Summerfest at Montana State University Billings.


The annual summer event — offered FREE to the community — is sponsored by the Associated Students of MSU Billings. This year marks the 31st Summerfest event and will be held Tuesday, July 10, from 4:30- 8 p.m. on the McMullen Hall lawn on the MSU Billings university campus just off of Poly Drive. Music will be provided by Play Maker DJ.


The evening of fun will feature inflatable games and toys for both adults and children as well as free balloons, face painting, cotton candy and snow cones. There will also be a dunking booth, rock climbing wall, Shrine clowns and train, inflatable toys as well as a Bungee Run and basketball challenge. 


All activities are free. A barbecue picnic will be available for $6 per person and Summerfest T-shirts will be for sale.
