MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — One of the most popular film festivals for outdoor enthusiasts will be making its first stop in Montana this year at Montana State University Billings.

The Costa Fly Fishing Film Tour will be at Petro Theatre at MSU Billings on Wednesday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m.  Tickets are $14 if purchased in advance online or $15 at the door.

In just its fourth year, the Fly Fishing Film Tour has become the fishing entertainment event of the year across the country. The Film Tour will be seen in well over 80 cities in 2011 — including three in Montana — and will showcase some of the best independent outdoor filmmakers. The goal of the Fly Fishing Film Tour is to energize the industry and inspire filmmakers to create new cutting-edge films to both entertain and educate outdoor enthusiasts.

After the tour’s showing at MSU Billings, it will have stops in Missoula and Bozeman.
