MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — The Montana State University Billings Symphonic Band will give its Fall Concert on Thursday, Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m. in Cisel Recital Hall on the MSU Billings main campus. 

 

Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students and seniors.  MSU Billings students, faculty and staff are free with a current university ID.

 

Under the direction of Dr. Mark Fenderson, the concert program will include “Flourish for Wind Band” by Ralph Vaughn Williams, “Scenes from the Louvre” by Norman Dello Joio, and “Symphony No. 6” by Vincent Persichetti.  Also on the program are “The Peaceful Warrior,” composed and conducted by senior music major Ron Dorado and “Chanson Funeraire” by Gabriel Faure, conducted by junior music major Mike Walker.
