MSU Billings student group slates 'Mini-Walk' for babies
The Montana State University Billings Residence Hall Association and the March of Dimes are teaming to help raise awareness of premature birth with a fund-raising walk this weekend.
The “Mini Walk for Babies” will be Saturday, March 21. The event kicks off with registation at the MSU Billings Student Union Building atrium at 9:45 a.m. Registration will be $5 and all of the proceeds will go directly to the March of Dimes.
Statistics show that one in eight babies in Montana are born premature. The March of Dimes is dedicated to research and prevention of premature births. They also provide vital resources for pregnant women and families who have premature babies.
