Anya J. Poirier, a senior piano performance major at Montana State University Billings, will be performing her Senior Piano Recital on Saturday, April 19 at 3 p.m., in Cisel Recital Hall at MSU Billings. The recital is free and open to the public.

She will be performing various pieces from piano composers such as Haydn, Chopin, Prokofiev, Korsakov, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, Debussy, Ravel and Liszt. Poirier began her piano studies under MSU Billings Professor Dorothea Cromley when she was 16 as a high school extension student and enjoys playing in church, improvising and composing music. Once Poirier graduates with her bachelor’s degree in May, she will further utilize her piano skills overseas.
