Dr. Michael Barber has identified the common cities in the northern part of the U.S. Billings is the lower center, Seattle is at the upper left and Minneapolis is at the lower right. That big bright spot in the right center is the Bakken oil play. To say Billings (and MSUB) is at the edge of some the biggest energy action in the U.S. is an understatement.
