Who is Eligible?

Students with documented disabilities whose disability functionally limits them in an academic environment may request services.

Students with a disability have the responsibility to identify themselves and request reasonable and appropriate accommodations and/or modifications.

If you would like to request services:

1. Contact Disability Support Services as soon as you are admitted to Montana State University Billings

2. Make an appointment for an intake interview

3. Bring documentation of your disability

4. Documentation must include:

5. A statement of disability on the letterhead of a qualified professional

6. A statement of how the disability limits you in an academic environment

7. A statement recommending accommodations based upon the functional limitations (see Accommodations Policies)
