Welcome to the Yellowjacket Family!

We are very excited for you to join us for the start and/or continuation of your college career! Class Registration and Orientation is your introduction to academic and non-academic life at Montana State University Billings.

Step 1:  Register for first semester courses through individual advising appointments, once all official transcripts have been submitted.  See advising contact information below.

Step 2. Sign up and attend Orientation in August.  During Orientation, students will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn how to successfully transition to life at MSUB
  • Engage with University services and resources
  • Connect with MSUB staff, faculty, and Academic Advisors
Transfer students are welcome to stay overnight in the residence halls, however, we cannot accommodate family members/young children during the Fall Orientation program in August. Family members are encouraged to explore local lodging options and contact New Student Services with any questions or concerns.
