STEM Drone Summer Camp
This immersive, hands-on STEM experience introduces students to drone technology,
aerospace fundamentals, and real-world data analysis. Students will build drones from
the ground up, learn safe flight operations, and use aerial imagery to solve authentic
community challenges.

- June 22–26: Girls Drone Camp (3rd - 6th grade)
- July 27–31: Middle & High School Drone Camp
- August 17–21: Co-Ed Drone Camp (3rd - 6th grade)

All drone equipment and instructional materials are provided.
What Students Will Experience
Throughout the week, participants will:
- Build and assemble a working drone
- Practice electrical soldering and wiring
- Learn FAA safety fundamentals and responsible flight operations
- Conduct supervised flight missions
- Collect aerial imagery and environmental data
- Analyze real-world data using GIS tools
- Apply drone technology to solve community-based challenges
This is not passive learning. Students will work hands-on in labs, collaborate in teams, and apply problem-solving skills in real scenarios.
