West High School

I have been in Upward Bound for three years and counting.  When UB first came to Riverside Middle School, I was excited to become part of the program.  I filled out all of the paperwork and had an interview.  When I was selected to go that summer, I was really happy about it.  I had a lot of fun meeting all the new people and going to visit different colleges.  We also had to take classes during the day but for some reason going to classes in the summer wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be.  It was actually a lot of fun.  I went the following summer and had just as much fun, if not even more.  That was the summer that UB went to South Dakota.

UB helps you find colleges, get financial aid, and recently the took a trip to Bozeman to visit the campus.  I am excited to be able to go check out Missoula's campus in the spring.  Any of the counselors are willing to help with problems you have or will answer any questions about getting into college.  They will also set up tutoring lessons if you need them.  The counselors will help out with pretty much any questions you have.
