Campus Lawn Passive Programing begins

Brings awareness to how many college students lives are taken by suicide each year.  Programing will continue all week.

 

Change Wars in the Residence Halls

The floor with the most change will win a pizza party.  All the change collected will be donated to Tumbleweed.

Event will continue all week.

 

Bell Ringing Ceremony & Reception

On Monday January 21st, 2019, Montana State University Billings will commemorate Dr. King’s Jr. life with a Bell Ringing Ceremony. The ringing of the bell symbolizes the quest for peace, along with justice, human rights, and social and economic progress for all people. The symbol of the bell also embraces America’s historic Liberty Bell, the representation of independence. Montana State University Billings has been honoring Martin Luther King Jr. for over 20 years.

Know the Signs Trivia Table and Break the Stigma Photo Booth  

Time: 5-7pm, Residence Halls

Residents will spin a wheel, answer a question related to suicide prevention for a chance for prizes, and then they can take a photo with props that we’ll send them that they can put out on social media to break the stigmas around mental health topics.

Lunch and Learn: Suicide in College: Connecting Concern to Action
