Megan Fetters
Deconstructed Landscapes

Outer Gallery
October 8–November 3, 2017
Reception: Thursday, Oct. 26, 5-7pm

Megan Fetters's abstract paintings are influenced by the photographs of Northwestern National Parks. According to the artist: "I subvert the forms in my photographs into deconstructed and simplified impressions to become synthetic landscapes. I imagine them as precursors for future experiences of the landscapes of the Northwest."

Megan Fetters will graduate with a BA in Art Education after student teaching in the spring of 2018. Fetters is MSUB’s athletic photographer and has been a Teaching Assistant for Painting 1 and Visual-Language Drawing.
