NOMINATIONS FOR 2023-2024

The Dr. Tasneem Khaleel Award for Mentoring Young Professional Women honors an individual who endeavors to provide support, programs or resources related to women and education, career opportunities, women’s health, elevating the image and self-esteem of women and promoting gender equality.

Eligibility: Faculty of any rank who have not won the award in the past 4 years

Award Amount: $500 stipend

Criteria: Evidence of outstanding contributions to mentoring women at MSUB. Evidence of advocacy for the advancement of women and girls at a local, state, or national level.

Guidelines for Submitting Nominations: Letters of nomination may come from all members of the campus community. Self-nominations are accepted. Nomination must include specific accomplishments, projects or endeavors that advocate for the advancement of women and girls. 

Letters of support will not be scored but may be provided to support the candidate’s overall application packet.  If the candidate includes letters of support, limit them to three letters.

Nominations are now closed

Once the nomination is submitted, the nominee will be contacted to determine if he/she wishes to have his/her name moved forward in the nomination process. Upon an affirmative answer, further instructions will be supplied.
