Effective communication functions on trout streams as well as in strictly human interaction.  In this case,  Dan persuaded a nice rainbow trout to accept his imitation of a sub aquatic insect as the real thing.  A 17" Big Horn River rainbow eagerly took a "pink sow bug" midge for the real thing.

Note how it is difficult to see the face of the angler.  Rhetoric can be used as a means of  concealing as well as revealing.  Rhetoric can function in this manner whether in words or images.
