MSU Billings Department of Music presents guest faculty concert

MSU BILLINGS NEWS—The Montana State University Billings Department of Music will host Romantic To Raucous, a guest faculty recital featuring works ranging from romantic standards to jazz and funk to be held on Monday, April 8 at 7:30 p.m. in Cisel Recital Hall on the MSUB campus. 

Join us for an exciting evening of music for bassoon and piano featuring old standards by Saint-Saëns and Elgar along with newer pieces including William Bolcom's Graceful Ghost Rag.

Dorian Antipa is a professor of bassoon at MSU in Bozeman as well as principal bassoonist with the Great Falls Symphony and a member of the Chinook Winds. He will be joined on piano by Jennifer Reason.

Traveling to perform in Montana from her home in Northern California, Jennifer is an accomplished music director and pianist who has performed extensively in the U.S. and Germany, Hungary, and Italy both as a soloist and collaborative pianist.

Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students, or free with a valid MSUB I.D.
