MSUB Alumna Hosts Art Showing with Local Students

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — MSU Billings alumna Samantha Finch has spearheaded an art exhibition featuring her students’ works with an opening reception scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Yellowstone Art Museum, 401 North 27th Street.

 

Shepherd High School students created the art for the Fractured Lands exhibit under the direction of Finch. The exhibit will be on display at the Yellowstone Art Museum from Oct. 28 through Dec. 3.

 

Finch teaches art education at Shepherd High School and is a 2016 graduate of MSUB with a bachelor’s degree in Art.

 

Live music will be played by Shepherd High School musicians under the direction of Ms. Kari Drange during the opening reception.

 

Admission for the opening reception is free.
