MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — As many youngsters eagerly await loading up on candy for Halloween, some at Montana State University Billings are concentrating on giving food away.

More specifically, staff, faculty and students at MSU Billings will be gathering non-perishable food items for distribution through Family Service, Inc. Led by the university’s Office for Community Involvement, the eighth annual “Halloween Food Drive” helps those in need in the Billings area.

On Monday, Oct. 31, from 5-7 p.m. MSU Billings students, staff and others will spread out through the university district going door-to-door to collect non-perishable food items.  Students and others in the MSU Billings community who want to take part will meet in the Student Union Building atrium at 5 p.m.

It’s an annual tradition when families and students get together to make a difference in the community. All food collected will be delivered to the Family Service, Inc.

To find out more about the annual food drive, contact Hazel Todd at 896-5815 or email her at hazel.todd@msubillings.edu.
