MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES —  Montana State University Billings will once again host open community meetings in November and December so that area citizens and constituency groups can discuss issues with Yellowstone area legislators prior to the 2011 legislative session. 

 

The Yellowstone Area Delegation community meetings will be held each Monday from 7-8:30 a.m. at the MSU Billings Downtown Campus, 208 N. Broadway, beginning Monday, Nov. 8. Sessions will then be held:

Nov. 22

Nov. 29

Dec. 6

Dec. 13

Dec. 20

 

Citizens and constituency groups can schedule 20-minute timeslots to make presentations or speak with legislators about key issues or concerns prior to the 2011 Montana Legislature, which begins on Monday, Jan. 3, 2011.

 

The sessions are open to any citizen or group. To schedule a time, contact Dan Carter, MSU Billings director of university and government relations, at 657-2269 or via email at dcarter@msubillings.edu. Preference will be given to citizens or area groups without regular lobbyists who do work for them in Helena.
