MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — AUDITIONS SET FOR MSU BILLINGS PLAY

Auditions will be held next week for six parts in the play “Five Women Wearing the Same Dress,” a production scheduled for April at Montana State University Billings.

Auditions are set for Thursday, Jan. 17 in LA 620 (Little Theatre) on the sixth floor of the Liberal Arts Building at MSU Billings, from 6-8 p.m. The production and auditions are being sponsored by the Drama Committee of the Associated Students of Montana State University Billings.

Parts are available for five women and one man (age range 20-35). Callbacks for the auditions will be announced at a later date.

Randall Pugh, university lecturer in the department of Communications and Theater at MSU Billings, will direct the show which is scheduled to be performed in mid April.

The contemporary comedy by playwright Alan Ball portrays the relationships and conflicts between five young women who are bridesmaids at a society wedding in Knoxville, Tenn. Southern accents may be required for some parts. Ball may be best known as the creator and producer of HBO’s popular serial drama “Six Feet Under.”

No scripts will be available prior to auditions. If you have any other questions about the audition, please call or leave a message for Pugh at 657-1722.
