MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Student Opportunity Services/TRIO at Montana State University Billings has scheduled a “Return to Learn” seminar on Jan. 10-11, 2008, to assist students in their transition to the world of higher education. The session will be held in the College of Education building, room 427, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 10 and Friday, Jan. 11.

“Return to Learn” is a free program for any student, but especially for students who have been out of school for a while and who are interested in either entering or returning to college.  Presentations and activities focus on making the transition to college pleasant, meaningful and less stressful.

Prospective students have the opportunity to learn about financial aid, study skills, college resources and career options. “Return to Learn” is open to everyone.  Adult learners, transfer students, and students with disabilities will find this seminar extremely helpful and enjoyable.

Although pre-registration is not necessary for the “Return to Learn” sessions, it is appreciated.  Call Student Opportunity Services/TRIO at 657-2162 for more information.  SOS/TRiO is funded through the U.S. Department of Education.
