What activities, club or jobs are you involved in outside of MSUB?

In the summer, I work for Upward Bound as team leader. I mentor high school students who are looking into becoming first-generation college students. They attend a program in the summer on campus and I get to help out creating activities for them to do in the evenings when they get done with classes.

What activities, clubs or jobs you involved in at MSUB?

I am the Community Coordinator for Jacket Student Ambassadors. I have also been a resident assistant for MSUB Housing for two years and will return for a third year. I also am a member of the LEAD program.

What do you like about MSUB?

I like the small community aspect of MSUB the most. Because of how small it is, you are able to become friends with everyone in your major. You also get a chance to know the faculty really well because of the small class sizes. Everyone here is friendly and willing to help you out in furthering your education.

What advice would you give to prospective students of MSUB?

Get involved as soon as possible and as much as possible. This is what makes your college experience. It'll give you the chance to meet other students and faculty as well as take some ownership of your time at the institution and make it fun.
