What do you love about Montana?

It’s a feeling I get whenever I’m in Montana—as though a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders and I’m finally home.  The mountains, lakes, rivers, sunrises/sunsets are all so beautiful.  In Montana, you can catch a movie or go shopping, and twenty minutes later, be hiking or floating down the river. There’s truly no place like Montana.

My best advice to future Yellowjackets would be:

Get involved on campus.  There are so many different clubs and organizations to join at MSUB.  They’re a great place to meet new people that share the same interests as you and an awesome way to make friends.  The best part is, if you don’t find a club for your interests, you can start your own.  When I was an MSUB student, I joined the History Club.  It was great to finally find people who were as passionate about history as I was!  We went on trips, held fundraisers, and sat around debating different historical events.

Favorite place to hang out in Billings?

The top of the Rims.  During the day, you can hike or bike along the trails.  At night, you can look out over the city lights or star gaze.

What do you love most about MSU Billings/City College?

Our intstructors are really wonderful!  They truly care about their students and want them to succeed.  In fact, we all want our students to have a scuessfull college experience.  There are so many fantastic resources on campus to help students achieve their goal of graduating—TriO, the ASC,  Student Health Services, etc.

I would like more information about the University or City College.
