MSUB music student to present senior piano recital

Dietz to perform 7:30 p.m. March 19

MSU BILLINGS NEWS— Montana State University Billings music performance major Korrin Dietz will present her senior piano recital on March 19.

Free and open to the public, the recital will be held in Cisel Recital Hall on the university campus beginning at 7:30 p.m. Her program will consist of works by Haydn, Chopin, Mendelssohn, Rachmaninoff, Nazareth, and Mozart.

Pianist Korrin Dietz is the daughter of Dana and Jeffrey Dietz and a graduate of Billings West High School. She is a student of Music Adjunct Faculty Tim Schoessler.

Dietz has been participating in piano lessons and activities since she was seven years old, starting in Musikgarten with Karen Hough. Later she studied with Sherlon Orth and Dorothea Cromley.

Dietz currently teaches students ages six and older in her piano studio. She is a double major pursuing bachelor’s degrees in English and music performance at Montana State University Billings, and will graduate in the Spring of 2019.
