MSUB City College Hosts Career Fair

Students and community invited to attend career fair at the City College campus from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on February 22

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Montana State University Billings City College will be hosting its 2018 Career Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, February 22, in room 119 in the Health Sciences Building at the City College campus.

 

Students and members of the Billings community are encouraged to attend the Career Fair where they can speak with prospective employers who are currently seeking to fill part-time, full-time, and internship positions.

 

Representatives from over 20 non-profit, for-profit, and government organizations will attend, representing industries such as healthcare, government, and skilled trades. These include Big Sky Economic Development, Billings Clinic, Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country, Consumer Direct Care Network, Employee Benefit Management Services, Franz Bakery, Interstate Power Systems, Island Mountain Development Group, KSVI/KHMT, Montana Legislative Audit Division, ONEOK. Inc., Sam’s Club, St. John’s Lutheran Ministries, The Buzz Sheet, Thee Body Shop, Town Pump, United Blood Services, Valley View Home, Welcov Healthcare, Wyoming Medical Center, and Youth Dynamics.

 

They are specifically in search of candidates with qualifications that can be obtained through our City College programs.

 

This event is part of a larger series of events that includes résumé, networking, and interviewing workshops in March and April, hosted on the University Campus.

 

City College students are encouraged to attend these events, as it is never too early to begin preparing for their next steps in their careers.

 

This is the first of two Career Fairs hosted through MSUB’s Advising & Career Services office. The MSUB University Campus Career Fair will be on March 27 in partnership with Rocky Mountain College.
