MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — MSU Billings Accounting Club will host “Truth and Transformation with Tyler Hamilton” this Thursday (October 19) from 6-8 PM at Petro Theater on the MSU Billings campus.

Tyler Hamilton was the “elite of the elite” in the cycling world, from the Tour de France to winning Gold at the Olympics.  But for 14 years, he was racing from the truth, which he thought would ruin him. In the end, it was the truth that saved him.  Hamilton came clean, admitted his doping sins and co-authored the book, “The Secret Race: Inside the Hidden World of the Tour de France, Cover-ups, and Winning at All Costs.”  Hamilton now spends his time speaking to youth groups around the globe, trying to educate them about the consequences of cheating in sports.

“Truth and Transformation with Tyler Hamilton” qualifies for two hours of Ethics Continuing Education Credits.  The event is open to the public. The cost is $20 per person.  MSU Billings students will be admitted for FREE with student ID.  All proceeds will benefit the MSU Billings Accounting Club.  Doors open at 5 PM, and Hamilton will be available for a meet and greet.

Event sponsors include: Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance, Anderson Zurmuehlen, EideBailly, Health Management Services, LLC., and Montana Society of Certified Public Accountants.
