Join the MSUB Chamber Singers and Chorus for pair of concerts

Chamber Singers and University Chorus present ‘From Met to Broadway’ at 7:30 p.m. April 22 and 3 p.m., April 23 in Cisel Recital Hall. Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for students and seniors or free with valid MSUB ID.

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — If you love opera and Broadway, then you won’t want to miss these upcoming concerts at Montana State University Billings.

 

The MSU Billings Music Department presents “From MET to Broadway,” at 7:30 p.m., April 22 and 3 p.m., April 23 in Cisel Recital Hall on the University campus.

 

The concerts of opera and Broadway music will feature the Chamber Singers and the University Chorus.

 

The performances will be under the direction of Assistant Professor Doug Nagel and feature selections from The Gondoliers, The Tales of Hoffmann, Andrew Lloyd Webber excerpts from The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, and Evita, as well as West Side Story, Vanessa, and more. MSUB voice majors will be featured as soloists. Pianist Jackie Shanahan will accompany the singers.

 

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors.  MSU Billings students and staff enter free with a valid ID. Parking is free in all lots.
