Montana State University Billings University Chorus gathers during a rehearsal for its upcoming performances on April 18 and 19 

 

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Montana State University Billings music department presents “From MET to Broadway,” a concert of opera and broadway music featuring the Chamber Singers and the University Chorus on April 18, at 7:30 p.m., and April 19, at 3 p.m., in Cisel Recital Hall. 

 

Under the direction of professor Doug Nagel, the two-day concert will feature selections from "Madama Butterfly,” “Nabucco,” "The Marriage of Figaro," "The Barber of Seville," "Sweeney Todd," "On The Town,” "The Mikado," and many more. Students will be featured as soloists in small scenes. Pianist Kathy Honaker will accompany the singers.

 

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors.  MSU Billings students and staff enter free with a valid ID.
