MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — The Montana State University Billings History Club, Phi Alpha Theta, will again host one of its popular “Brats & Burgers” fundraisers on Friday, Oct. 19, from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Yellowstone Valley Brewing, 2123 1st Avenue North.

This week, however, the club and food purveyors reach back to the old days --- really old days, as in caveman days — by featuring bison burgers. Along with the bison burgers will be fresh Johnsonville brats marinated and boiled in Black Widow Stout sludge and then grilled. The food will be prepared by professors and students from the MSU Billings history department. The burgers and brats and all the trimmings can be purchased for $5.

Proceeds will help fund the MSUB History Club’s trip to the annual Phi Alpha Theta Northwest Regional Student Conference next spring.

The MSU Billings History Club has members of various majors on campus who have a strong interest in history.
