Summer 2012 Space Science
Space, the final frontier. Participants of the 2012 Summer Institute studies focused on what is in space, how do we get there and can we stay there for long periods of time. The thematic tour took students to Salt Lake City where they met with physicists, astronomers, and engineers at BYU-Idaho, Weber State University, the University of Utah and MSU Bozeman. Rockets were made and launched out of 2 liter bottles and eggs were put to the test when placed in capsules for the launch.
