Student Wellness Program
The Student Wellness Program provides a variety of health education opportunities for students of Montana State University Billings. The program is designed to educate students about health issues, encourage students to make healthy life choices, and thereby help students stay in college and avoid the financial threat of ever increasing health care costs.
The Student Wellness Program is a part of Student Health Services located on the second floor in Petro Hall. The Student Health Services provides basic medical care, mental health counseling and programs and information on current health issues of concern to the student.
Campus & Community Coalition for Substance Abuse Prevention
Faculty, staff, students, and community members work together in this group to address alcohol and other drug abuse issues. The group's focus is to provide a variety of educational materials, tools, and opportunities for students to utilize in making healthy choices regarding alcohol and other drugs.
The Coalition offers educational and entertainment programming during Welcome Week, National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week, Drunk and Drugged Driving Awareness Month, Spring Break, and also during National Alcohol Awareness Month. The Coalition also participates in the National Alcohol Screening Day held each year in April.
