Residential Life
The Residential Life Department offers a variety of student leadership positions throughout the academic year and summer sessions. For specific information on how to get involved in these positions, contact the Residential Life Office, Student Union Room 221 or call (406) 657-2333.
Resident Assistants (RAs)
The RA is responsible for the overall operation of a residence hall floor including: policy enforcement, programming, community development, counseling and referrals, and various administrative functions for the residents on their floor and throughout the hall. The RA staff is hired each spring and the position pays room and board for the year.
Residence Hall Association Student Leadership positions
The Residence Hall Association (RHA) selects several leadership positions each spring through an application process. These positions include: President, Vice President/National Communications Coordinator, Secretary, Public Relations, and Promotion/Recognition Chair. RHA also selects two representatives from each residence hall to serve on the executive board. Individuals in these positions receive a stipend each semester and a single room for the price of a double.
