Dr. Stacy Klippenstein,
Ed.D
Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs

Dr. Klippenstein is a graduate of Eastern
Montana College (Montana State University –
Billings) with a bachelor’s in Education (1990
History, Political Science) and a master’s in
Education (1994 Student Affairs Administration).
He completed his Education Doctorate (Higher
Education Leadership) from Nova Southeastern
University in 2007. Over the past 18
years, Dr. Klippenstein has worked at Eastern
Montana College, Texas Tech University, Northern
Arizona University, and Central Washington
University. He enjoys spending time with
his two sons, Steven and Ty, his wife Carrie
(1991 graduate of Eastern Montana College),
golfing, coaching baseball, and with friends.

Ellen
L. Miller,
Administrative Assistant

Ellen has over a 20 year
history at Montana State University Billings.
Ellen came to Eastern Montana College
(EMC) in the late 60’s as a student.
In the
early 70’s she returned to EMC as cashier in the
Business Office for 3 years.
Ellen
spent 2 years at EMC as a student in the mid
80’s.
After working in the private sector and
raising her two children once again she came
back to EMC in 1993 and a year later the name
was officially changed to Montana State
University Billings. She is starting her 18th
year working as Administrative Assistant to
Graduate Studies and the Vice Chancellor for
Student Affairs and as held that position for
the last 13 years.
Ellen is a dedicated
professional, committed to providing excellent
service and problem solving to students, faculty
and staff at Montana State University Billings.
