This year’s conference theme is “Ideas to Inspire, Technology to Engage”.  Key Presenters include: Kevin Honeycutt- Hooking Learners with Digital Tools; Tony Vincent- iPads and Ipods in Learning; Shawna Heiser; Rudy Simone- Aspergers & Girls; and Marla Dewhirst- Braiding RTI & MBI.

Come participate in a natural resources learning experience that addresses watershed issues in Montana. This year’s focus is on wetlands. Come ready to work hard and play hard! Activities and Lessons: ~Visit local wetlands and riparian areas—urban and rural, natural and constructed. ~Explore impacts of Yellowstone River oil spill. ~Wetlands’ role in water quality protection and flood control. ~Participate in group problem-solving watershed activities. ~Practice water monitoring protocols. ~Share your water monitoring activities with peers.

Registration Fee: *Cost includes lessons, tours, meals, accommodations, substitute teacher fees, and most travel expenses. Cost for teachers is $45. Cost for Students is $25. Scholarships available for people in need.
