II.        DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS

A.  Academic Senate Budget Committee:  Alternative Meeting Idea

Steve Coffman, Budget Committee Chair, stated that the Committee is currently in recess so as not to double up work with the CQI/Strategic Planning group.  We may have input from the CQI group by the winter break.

B.  Online Conversion to D2L

The question was raised as to what needs to be converted.  It was noted that if you have an online course currently in eCollege, it needs to be transferred to D2L very soon.  If you have no courses currently online, you can begin developing online courses with D2L whenever you would like.  To set up an online shell for an onsite course in D2L, call Bill Weber in the eLearning Hub.

C.  BOR in Missoula November 19-21

Dr. Steerey will be unable to attend the meeting but Vice Chair Keith Edgerton will be going.  Also, Dr. Steerey will watch the streaming video of the meeting.

The meeting adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
