Montana Code Annotated 20-25-321 grants university police officers authority upon the campuses of Montana State University Billings and for campus related activities, an area within one (1) mile of the exterior boundaries of each campus. University police officers may not serve or execute civil processes. |

Yes, University police officers are certified police officers who have graduated from the Montana Law Enforcement Academy. They are sworn peace officers with full arrest powers. University police officers have the authority to enforce federal, state and local laws within the campus jurisdiction. |

staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Officers can be reached
