Adults who have considered completing an undergraduate degree but are also concerned about the initial cost can take advantage of a new scholarship at Montana State University Billings. Designed specifically for adults who have been away from education for a time and keeping in mind financial concerns those adults have, MSU Billings has developed the Adult Learner Connections Scholarship. That scholarship will allow adults who return to college the opportunity take their first class for only $100 per credit. Those who are interested in the scholarship need to have been out of high school for at least three years and have been away from college for two or more years. The scholarship is available for the first class only and counts for online classes as well as classes at the main campus or the College of Technology campus on Billings’ West End. Students taking graduate-level classes are not eligible for the scholarship. The ACS Online Tutoring service is now available to students. You can access this service at http://www.msubillings.edu/asc/Online_Tutoring_Center.htm. Jason Suazo will be tutoring chemistry for the remainder of the semester at the COT Academic Support Center. He will also be attending class as an observer.
